I just bought a new set of wiper blades for my 91 Si, but the rear wiper that I bought doesnt seem compatible with the holder! The application book for the wipers says it is for my car, but the connecting parts dont match? Am i retarded? I'll get pics up in a sec...

Heres the old one with the new one on the right. Is there a way to take that center swivel piece out of the new wiper?

Here is the front wiper with the same replacement wiper blades. Notice how the 'hook' fits into the swivel point on the new blade.


So whats the deal? Is my rear assembly the stock one, or has it been replaced? There is a plastic pin you remove from the rear wiper to remove the blade, but the replacement doesnt have a hole for the pin to go thru. Any ideas? BTW the old and new wipers are by the same company.

 

hmmm... it looks like an arm with a hook connector, check to see if there is a button on the underside (facing the car)
