Anyone know or tried this?
Does anyone know how to do the IAT Sensor mod? Its supposed to trick the ecu to think cooler air is entering and gives more fuel. I heard you use a resistor on the IAT sensor but I just wanted alittle more info on this. What type of resistor? I heard it will increase hp gains but other people from another fourm say it increases torque.
i searched the web and found quite a bit about this mod, but most of them are in reference to domestics. here are a few sites i found:

http://rogue.bucks.edu/~0257335/IAT/
http://www.dfwstangs.com/tech/cppp/CPPP.htm
http://www.rogueperformance.com/IntakeAir.html
it would be interesting to experiment with it.

I found the resistance value for the RSX which is 3.3K Ohm resistor(orange, orange, red, gold) I read that it works pretty good. However, I'm not exactly sure what the value should be for a D16. Anyone have ideas? I know this wouldnt work when the temperature outside gets colder so for now its kinda useless here in nyc. If anyone has any info for Civics please post the resistance value. Would it be the same as the RSX because it is also 4 cylinder? Imight have nothing to do with that, i dunno. I hope someone comes up with the correct resistance!! Thanks!
