2002 Honda Accord Installing Cruise control with factory parts
Hi, I'm wondering if any one knows all the parts I'm going to need to do this. I plan on buying used original parts. If you have some instructions also that'll be awesome! I do a lot of driving and would love to have CC, it'll take the chance away of me accelerating too much and possibly getting stopped for speeding.
So far I know I need the switch (under driver A/C vent). The Set/accel/decel control (right side of steering wheel). Cruise control computer (near steering column next to all the other computers). I'm 90% sure that's all for the inside. I know something's need to go in the engine bay but I'm not too sure what/where
Alright since no one is replying I'm going to share my results. My 2002 Accord V4 is a 4 door automatic VP. I need to change my clock spring to actually have the connector for the steering wheel control. In the engine bay some bracets need to be change due to another throttle cable being added by the actuator which also needs a vacuum line. The vacuum line needs to be connected to the vacuum tank. The throttle body only has room for one cable so it needs to be changed to the one that actually has 2 throttle cable inputs.
So for the engine bay you need a actuator (on the driver side near the light). Vacuum tank (basically below the fuse box). All the lines for both parts with will need new bracets.
