Default 94 civic/d15 - Can you run without piping from cat back safely?

Ok guys I'm making a custom exhaust..... So basically I have the all of the stock piping off and a dc sports header and blox test pipe installed. I wanna know if I can run it just like that with no issues. Its a 94 honda civic with d15. Very aware that it will sound like ***, but I wanna know if it will hurt the motor, make it stall, or will the excess exhaust heat under the car be a problem.

I have searched and honestly all the threads end in flaming, and not very many on no exhaust at all, just muffler deletes basically. I was hoping for a opinion from someone who has ran this setup before for a long period of time. Thanks!

Quite a few people including myself in the past have just run straight-dump pipes from turbos down or out of the bonnet/hood or even side exit exhausts through bumpers. Unless you have a second lamdba/O2 after the test-pipe, I don't see why you would run into issues.

If you are not piping it at least out the side, you are going to be putting a fair amount of exhaust inside the cabin. Enough exhaust gets back up to the fresh air intake and I am doubtful the sitck shift area is air tight. That would be one area of concern.

Without a cat, I am not sure if there will be enough back pressure for scavenging but fuel economy doesn't sound like much concern to you.
