How to: CRX mud flaps on Civic
Not sure if this has ever been covered before, but with Civic mud flaps becoming harder and harder to find in good condition and not for a ton of money I decided to throw some CRX mud flaps on my EF9.
First: This is a how to of how I did it. Is there better ways, probably but this worked for me. This is only a guide, if somehow you manage to mess up your car or kill yourself with a drill or screwdriver that's not my fault.
CRX mudflaps are plentiful and still pretty cheap. Not to mention I'm pretty sure you can still buy them OEM from Honda.
As you can see the CRX bumper is slightly longer than the Civic bumper (even with a lip). So take out a fancy sharpie and draw what needs to cut off.

I used a dremel with a cutting wheel to make my cuts. I didn't get it exact in my first cut so I had to line it up and recut a couple times. Easier to cut too little and recut than cut way too much off.

Wah-la! I took them off and cleaned up all the rubber shavings from the end.

Make sure you clean the area before installing them...

Remove the top screw from the bumper and set it aside as you will use it on the top hole of the mudflap. Line up the mud flap and install the top screw. (Sorry I didn't get a picture of them, but I think you will know what I"m talking about.....)
On the inside it's not going to line up to the correct hole, so I drilled a hole roughly 2 inches from the original hole.

I had a couple of these laying around so that's what I used for the hole I drilled to mount the mud flap:

Lastly, I used a self tapping screw for the bottom hole:

All installed: I looks kinda offsided in the picture but in real life they are both straight, who knows..
