Coilover for honda civic ek 2000 sedan 4 door
Hello Guy i am new to honda tech
'
Well i have honda civic ek 2000 sedan 4 door . intended to buy coilover for my ride but bit confuse about the spring rate and coilover which would suit my taste "
I want to lower my ride about 1.4" front and 2" from rear want to go low but i occasionally visit track n weekend and n week days like 2 days a week i drive my car for daily purpose: the road out there is not so good and smooth and ve alot of potholes and speedbreakers .. i ve selective brand available which is
tein flex z 10k front. 6 k rear
d2 rs 12k front / 5k rear
skunk2 pro c
skunk2 pro s!!
money is no issue for me "
i ve asr subframe+tie bar func7 lca . asr 24mm rear sway bar
and in future um going to camber my rear wheel like -1 deg : currently n 17" wheel
the supplier here told me to go with tien flex z instead of d2 Rs:
i ve no idea that switching to 12k front to 10k front how much it will influence my ride .
others coilover are bc br coilover and buddyclub n+
any comment will be appreciated

i have the same car ,a 99 civic sedan and it came with the skunk 2 full coilovers without dampening adjustment (basic). i daily drive the car on crappy NYC streets and i have no complaints. its a basic setup and relatively cheap option that does the job.
ive never driven on any of the other options you posted but, as i stated ,the junk 2s do the job and for pretty cheap.
if money is not an issue, then i'd look into higher end tein or amr options.
all the best to you.
