Default 2000 Odyssey Sliding Door Alignment

While replacing the worn/lost "door stoppers" on the top and bottom rails on both sides of my 2000 Odyssey, I discovered the doors do not 'meet" the stoppers in the same way on both sides of the van. On the driver (left) side the door engages both the top and bottom stoppers at the same time. On the passenger (right) side, only the top stopper engages. The bottom stopper has about a 3/8" gap between it and the lower door stopper roller assembly 72572-S0X-A01. Which side is correct? Should the each door hit both of its stoppers at the same time? If so, could you make and adjustment recommendation? How should I adjust the passenger door? Given these doors are temperamental, I am loathe to try adjusting the door without a recommendation. I am original owner and doors have never been hit or adjusted previously to my knowledge.
regards,
-Pete
