hi there i just got my car back from the shop after 7 months of building. Put a jdm 2.3l in with a t04e turbo inter cooler. swapped out the ecu. all new coilovers rotors and calipers/pads. New rad and hoses, new clutch. Eibach sway bars. 550 cc injectors and walbro 255 pump. tuned at 245 whp 8psi. Driving home from the shop at about 4500 rpms doing about 110 mph a huge cloud of white smoke comes out and my car stalls, i start it back up and it now sounds like a suburu and the smoke is coming in the car., Needless to say I bought another engine and im building a g23 swap. have most of the components already any advice. And what do you think happened to the last engine.

 

Sounds like you blew the HG. From the post, sounds like you got the car back with the correct ECU to run the new engine. But it was not tuned for boost. So the 1st time you ripped on it, it blew up.

Where did it get tuned? What ECU and tuning program? What was the AFR?
