i replaced the passenger side cv axle in my 98 crv and when i torqued it i couldnt turn the wheel by hand so i backed it off then it turned fine. i got to looking at it looks like theres a rubber type of seal on the cv alxe thats binding on the wheel hub. i didnt happen to notice if my old axle had it or not i allready turned it in for the core. so can i just remove the rubber seal on the cv axle? i dont see any purpose for a seal right there. its an awd 5 speed crv if that matters.
