So it started out of nowhere. I start my car and I notice that the battery light and brake light on my cluster are staying lit. I thought idk, so I drove it around and they turned off in less than a minute. Didn't really think anything of it till the next day, the battery and brake light stayed on again and turned off as i drove it. Same thing like the day before except I turn my headlights on and it reset my radio. I turned on and off my headlights and it did the same thing.

So I took my battery out and to Advanced to get tested he explained that it needed a charge so I left it, picked it up and he said its all good it took a charge. I put the battery back in my prelude and take it to Advanced to test the alternator and another employee said that the battery was good and that the alternator was charging it aswell. All along the two brake and battery lights have been lighting up upon starting the car, but I noticed they turn off if i rev it past about 2k.

So i'm driving around to see if the battery starts to die out again and same thing as i turn the headlights on the radio resets and right before I got home it started to stall, I switched it to sport shift and noticed that it wouldn't go past 2nd gear.

Most of my conncections look really well, there isn't any corrosion on my battery cables.

Has anybody ever had this issue before? Are there any certain connections I should be checking or could it really be the alternator?

sounds like the alt is on the way out.
pull out the brush unit i bet it's close to toast.
