Hi everybody! Was reading honda-tech forum for quite some time and thought that it would be interesting to start my own thread about my car. It may be unusual for you guys, but this thread will be from RHD EF-2 from Russia. Yes, there is such a place as Chelyabinsk, Urals (middle Russia). Hope it will be fun to read about civic from another side of the world

Everything started almost 3 years ago, when I bought rusty EG with B18C Spec 96 and S80 lsd. I was new to automobiles and was not thinking about condition of a car etc. just wanted to buy it. About a year I was riding this peace of rust with an engine that was consuming oil such as fuel (about 1 liter on 1000km). After that I've decided to bring hardware to another body. While the old body was cutted the engine was fully rebuild. B20 bottom with YCP 11.5 CR pistons, hasting rings, arp head and main studs, arp rod bolts, oem gaskets and oem b18c spec 96 head. The engine was completed and I started to think about new body for it. Few weeks of searching and I've found LHD EF. There was only metal body and suspension, nothing else but it was without any rust. I've bought it and take to my friends garage to insert engine. What was a surprise when we realized that rear suspension mounts was totally damaged by rust. They were piercing but the screw easily. I was disappointed and there was a few moments when I was thinking about selling everything.

The next step was buying RHD red EF-2 with good chassis and stock D15B dualcarb with AT inside. It was parked for two years in the country in 300km from my city. Bought it for 400$, then sold engine, trans, some more things from it for 200$. So it is EF-2 for 200 bucks













Now need to handle the bottom from the rust and rebuild suspension. Fortunately I've got almost everything to do it. To be continued!

Bought two kayaba ultra sr rear shocks and 260mm rear disk brakes from EP3. Waiting for fiberglass stock body parts: front and rear bumper, hood, fenders. Here is photos of what I will get by the end of October:
