ef6 1st Gen DOHC ZC swap HELP!

Default ef6 1st Gen DOHC ZC swap HELP!

Hi i need some help with my with a 1st gen dohc zc swap into a ef. I have a 1989 civic gti ef6 (NZDM) that im trying to put a low k's 1st gen zc into it but im having trouble with the intermediate shaft. Im using my stock L3 gearbox and stock wiring harness. I already know that i need to modify the passenger side engine mount and the wiring to the dizzy.What sort of intermediate shaft do i need and if i remove all the vacuum lines will the motor run flat?And also what timing belt do i use?

You should get the shaft that originally came with the transmission.

why would you want to remove vacuum lines?

The motor didn't come with a transmission and my intermediate shaft wont bolt up to the block because it catches on the oil filter.I want to remove some of the vacuum lines because i don't have the black box.

If your gearbox was originally for a sohc engine then the intermediate shaft will not fit in the trans
