Default Sway Bar Sizing

Looking into adding sway bars to my 98 CX Hatch. Just wanted some opinion/discussion on whether or not i should run a front and rear sway bar, or of i should just run a rear bar only.. Any help is appreciated.

Currently riding on Koni/GC OTS 340F/250R

thanks yo

No one can answer the rear bar only question except for you. We can tell you our experiences, but you may not experience the same. For example. A lot of us (including myself prefer some oversteer) you might not.

my recommendation. Source a 96-00 EX/LX front sway bar/LCA's. Now is a good time replace the bushings, so consider that.

find a 99-00 SI, or 94-01 integra rear bar.

See how that works out for you and go from there.

If I end up installing a front ARB, should i take a chance with junkyard Front LCAs? Or buy them brand new?

Spring rates that flaccid, I'd run a 28mm solid front and an ASR 32mm hollow bar thick wall. Up your spring rates yo.

You can use junk yard arms. really all you really need is the back half on the lca.

Wouldnt stock sized bars compliment low spring rates like mine? I always thought as you up your spring rates, you up the sway bar sizing as well. Plus, 98 CX didnt even come with sway bars stock, so im assuming installing more modest sizes (22mm front, maybe 22/24mm rear) will do the job just fine anyway

You wouldn't want to put a larger bar on the front. You have an open differential so increasing the size of the front bar will only serve to reduce traction exacerbate wheel spin.

start of with stock size sway bars, see how you like it. upgrade from there pending your driving style, and personal preferences. Like the other guy said, I personally like alot of oversteer, where you may not. its all on you man.
