D16Z6 Turbocharged CEL, Idle, Vacuum solutions?
Hello. i am having some crazy issues and i have done everything i can think off to fix my problem , therefore i am all out of options . I have a 94 civic ex d16z6 .
modifications: ycp gold low compression pistons
eagle rods Darton sleeves,
precision turbo on 22psi
port and polished head ( rebuilt all oem parts ) cometic gaskets
gates belt and water pump,
Walboro 255 fuel pump
580 cc injectors
AMK turbo manifold
ngk wires,
New Aftermarket distributor
j mills tuned Hondata s300 v1 .
One day at work I slammed the hood of my car and went to start it . nothing sounded well at all. I was not getting any spark during my first attempts, so I replaced the distributor (Still used OEM plugs wires to no avail.)
At this point, the battery was dead so I purchased a new AMG solid stat battery and relocated its placement to trunk.
After trying for a while the car starts CEL illuminates and it runs like crap. After a bit of time and several start attempts, the CEL finally disappears and the car will run great
I am lost at this point. The car ran great for about a year then the head gasket went . After the head gasket blew, all kinds of other issues start developing. (An example is when the CEL illuminates, not only does it run horribly, but the rpms becomes erratic as if the ignition coil was going out, even with a new ignition coil.)
I have checked all grounds, installed a new hondata 4 bar MAP sensor, the IACV was cleaned and tested, and all the plugs are in order. If anyone has any ideas I would love to know. I have taken this to several people and they just send it back telling me they don't know what in the world is the cause..

Yes . I'm a manager at advance. So I got one ,then returned it and got another one just in case it was a messed up dizzy. So really I put 2 diff dizzys on there and they both did the same thing. I will also add that I did the same thing with the NGK Wier's and plugs.
