2002 Honda Insight ABS Delete, proportioning valve question.
I am re plumbing my brake hydraulics to work without ABS, I have the stock master cylinder with two lines out, four brake lines to feed and I don't know which proportioning valve to use to use. Brakes will remain stock. Front disc, rear drum.
I must ask what your intent is on this project. What are your stated goals?
An ABS delete is a deletion of a very critically designed braking safety feature, and should never be removed from a road car.
If this is a drag or off-road car, you should be considering other options, like not using Insight brakes at all instead of band-aiding.

My intent is to hook up the brakes without ABS. If it makes you feel any better I took the airbags out too. Thanks for your concern but my 43 year old self can handle this, just wondering which prop valve would be best.
Edit: I was just out looking at my Insight, it has a proportioning valve already. Mounted on the passenger side shock tower just a bit rearward from the ABS pump. Why not just use that?
Well, Im not 100% sure why but it seems that people that have deleted ABS from other cars wind up needing a non-abs unit...... If that is incorrect in my case I hope I still have the thing, already bought a $20 civic dx unit as well.
