Does anyone know if delsol seats bolt into a 91 hatch?

 

so does anyone know the answer or is this just a dumb question? regardless think i am going to try it tonight, just wanted to see if anyone else knew before i wasted my time.

Anything that the stock pan will fit will bolt in. Either that or an aftermarket seat with the proper brackets. I personally would recover the stock seats, however I am not you. There is not one single seat that will bolt in, to my knowledge (I am 53 and have had these for 20+ years). Sooooooo, what will you do? I would suggest not half *** fabricating a bracket to install seats that will not fit and be not safe in a crash. Be wise and safe.

There's a few threads in the FAQ that cover some of the seat questions people have asked over the years. I bet if you read some of it (ALL OF IT) you might find an answer to your question.

 

I'm pretty sure I've seen Del Sol seats in there. Anything is possible with enough time and money, but I think that your money would be better served doing something else, like getting them redone, as Dave suggested.

 

When I bought my first EF hatch like 15 years ago it had Del Sol seats in it. It also had only 3 bolts holding it in, so I took them out and put OEM seats in there since, you know.... I didn't want to die.

 

i'm not interested in getting them recovered bc that is not the part that bothers me, i have SI seats in my Ef and they are just not comfortable to me.i have some delsol seats laying around that are much more cofy and for someone that drives 800 + miles a week i want to be comfy. ill just test fit them and drill new hole if needed to secure the seat. my driver seat has some sort of gangsta lean to it from previous owner and it just plain sucks to drive it.
