Slight throtle surge when engine under load
I recently did a valve cover gasket replacement and PCV valve and in doing so, had to remove air intake. Also cleaned throtle body and EGR on my 07 Odyssey Touring 159,000 miles. I replaced all gaskets related to this and torqued all bolts to spec. Also removed map sensor for this job. Got everything back together and now there is a slight rpm surge when engine is under load ie power steering or A/C but, then it fluctuates a few hundered rpms when ac cycles or steering is done. As a side note, blew a P0420 code about a hundred miles after this work,(cat under threshold bank 1) found a vac. line clamp not seated properly, took care of that and then cleared code with scan tool. This didn't affect my main issue but, thought I would throw this in there. Also, I just replaced my spark plugs with OEM Denso iridium gapped to spec. Read threads on IAC but, not sure if this was related.
