Best so far is a 13.8 @ 100 mph on street tires and a factory slipping clutch.

 

Sweet ride man. My fiber images hood lifts up on the right side just like yours. i had to get hood pins to fix it too.

thanks for all the support guys. anyone know of any eg h22a swaps around the central illinois area? i would like to see and talk to some other people that have done one. i was at import revolution last month and didn't see a one. i'll try and get some better pics up soon.

Where do you see a scatter shield?? I see a tranny side upper mount but no SS.

Place Racing did the re-wired harness. They did a great job. They even labeled most of the connectors. I haven't had any problems with the axles. As I understand it, they are beefier than the alternate factory Honda ones. The cost on the swap is kind of classified, since I get everything at wholesale. Basically I have 10K invested including the cost of the car and I got the car completely gutted with no motor or anything other than factory suspension and body for $1100. Everything on my mod list I bought (some parts are not needed for the swap). I do like the header wrap. They seem to keep the heat down a lot. Can't hurt things.

 

wait, so you only gained 10hp to the flywheel with all those bolt ons?

Put your ground wire in its proper place though. It looks like it is connected to the motor mount!
