Default crv clutch 98 different then 99?

i found an exedy clutch kit on amazon but according to amazon it wont fit my 98 crv but it will fit a 99. i didnt think they would be different. are they? its an exedy khc05

Hi, In the 1997-2000 Honda CR_V Service Manual, there is no distinction between those years for the manual transmission clutch.

To be 100% sure I would check on any Honda .com honda parts web site and compare the part numbers for each year.
