1989 Civic DX complete new manufacture/aftermarket knuckles?
Alright, I am a couple hours into *one side* of replacing both front wheel bearings, and I just now got the knuckle assembly out of the car. Upper bj alone took almost 40 minutes with a very, very large hammer and a pickle fork.
Bought the car cheap, knowing that they needed to be replaced and quickly found out virtually every single screw, nut, and bolt is completely seized. Including the brake rotor screws which will need to be drilled out.
Anyone know where I can pick up the whole assembly at once (not ebay)? Not looking to part anything together as this is my commuter and currently it's up on blocks.
If I am going to buy new I would prefer aftermarket over OEM if anyone makes them for EF civics still.
Thanks a bunch guys.
P.S. Hi everyone, new to HT.

Your cheapest option would be a junkyard. You can get complete assembly for a fraction of the price trying to buy new. While you're there, check to see if any nuts and screws are seized so you won't have a surprise at home. By the way, PB plaster does wonders for those bolts and screws. Hope this helps.
Yea, I went through a whole large can of penetrating oil.
Finally got both knuckle assembly's out and managed to get the rotors off the passenger side, got the first screw off the rotor on the drivers side and the second one was so stuck that it broke the bit off my impact driver.
Going to have to drill that one out as the bit actually fused into the screw, which I was impressed didn't just strip or shear the head off.
