AC works, then doesn't
Issue: I recently replaced the AC compressor on my wife's 2010 CRV. Also replaced the expansion valve and vacuumed over night to remove moisture. Filled with required amount of R134a. I started the car and the AC worked great and continued to for the next day or two and then started to blow hot air intermittently.
In observation most of the time the AC works fine when I'm pulling out of the garage but after it's been sitting under the sun in a parking lot or if I've been driving for 10-20 minutes it starts blowing hot air again. I also added UV dye and am not seeing any leaks. Occupationally, if I restart the car I can get the cold air to start up again but without any level of consistency. I connected manifold gauges and when it's working the pressures are around 40 (low) and 190 (high) and when it's not low shoots up to 100 or so with high at about the same as it was. Any ideas I could try in an effort to resolve?
