Who knows how to fit ITR/GSR airbox in a 96-00 civic?
I've searched honda-tech and other sites as much as I can and I haven't even found one post on it. I know somebody has done it. I've tried it a couple of times already in my 00 si but can't get it to fit. If anybody has descriptions or even pics please help me out. All i want is the box and intake arm on, i'll figure out something for the under tubing since i don't have any of those parts.
thanks.

don't quote me on this, but I think you need a bigger throttle body. either that or a SkunkII intake manifold to make it couple because the inlet sizes are different. just adapt a piece of PVC pipe to it and use some hose clamps and rubber sleeves until you're satisfied.
why are you doing this anyway? is a regular aftermarket intake not good enough for you?

A bigger throttle body is not required. I have gotten the intake arm to go on fine, its just there really isn't much room for the big airbox to go or to mount it to anything.
I hate the sound of intakes except for the comptech icebox and i don't have any money to spend. I have a gsr airbox sitting in my basement so its free. And quiet, the most important part to me.

You should be able to fit a GSR/ITR box with an ITR arm in your b series equipped 96-00 civic.
The only thing that you really have to worry about is actually mounting the box. I was trying to mount mine but the screw I had came up a little bit short. There is really only one hole that you can use. Find a longer screw and all should work out fine.
Reading over that...it sounds really really bad
