Hi, i want to know the compability of the quaife LSD for "crx vtec" QDF4U part-number. My gearbox is an oem Y2 matched to a b16a1. I have contact to quaife and they only send me the measures of the differentia.. So have anyone knows if this LSD fit my gearbox? Regards, Noah.

 

do you know the measurements of your current diff? you may need to measure.

i put "QDF4U quafie" into google
it appears that is for a small bearing d series transmission

Hi friend, thanks for your answer. But Quaife told me that reference is for the LSD with 35mm bearings, not only for the bearings. I have search in Mfactory but their LSD are only for b16a S1/Y1 gearbox and mine is the Y2. I hope the quaife will be for my gearbox, if not i need to swap it to an S1/Y1. Regards.

 

Do you have a D15 with an L3 small bearing transmission in your car? If so the Quaife part number QDF4U will fit. That is known as a D series small bearing transmission.

QDF1U might fit as it is for B series.

What did Mfactory say when you contacted them?

 

Mfactory told me that they havent any LSD for my trans. By the way the quaife you mean is for Y21/Y80/S80/S4C gearboxes. So can anyone find a LSD for my Y2 gearbox?

 

You are likely going to need to take it apart and measure
