My '94 Civic Si wipers do not park anymore when I use the Mist feature. I think they will return only when I turn the wipers to High.

I also heard that using the '96-'00 ICU will add the headlight audio alarm, so that would be nice.

I understand my windshield wiper problem might also be in the motor itself, or in the switch, but I thought I would see if anyone can tell me about the compatibility of the 2 different ICUs.

Have you guys compared the ICU pin outs? Are they identical or different?

 

I have not had time to get to the salvage yard and grab one off a '96 - '00 yet, so I thought I would start here.

I thought someone in here would be all over it by now...

 

Just check the service manual. The diagrams there will answer the question.

 

I don't know about 6th gen to 5th gen ICU.

I've only seen about the 94-97 Integra and the 98-xx CRV ICU's being put into the 5th gen civics (92-95).

Like Ron mentioned, the factury service manuals for both the 5th gen and 6th gen will be able to tell you.
