I have a 1997 Accord EX with auto transmission and 146,000 miles. I'm experiencing an annoying rattle sound with some vibration when stopped (or moving slowly) and I turn the steering wheel. I replaced the CV axles (which it needed) a year ago and that seemed to help a little. Yesterday after performing a Sea-Foam procedure (not related to the issue), I took it out and noticed a slight steering wheel shimmy during hard acceleration. The overall problem is getting worse and I trying to get an idea of what could be the cause so I can be prepared for the cost of finally fixing it. This is my second car which I use for commuting and aside from this problem, it's running great. Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.
