Hello All,

Up for sale is my 2004 Honda Civic SIR from Canada. The car has 136044 miles / 218943 km on it and runs wonderfully. Currently I drive the car everyday to work which is close to 400 miles a week and average about 28 mpg combined. The car shifts great into all gears with no grinds at all and the clutch is extremely strong and tight. The brakes and tires are newer and easily stop the vehicle and perform well in the rain and on the asphalt. The interior of the car is all stock with no features broken at all and I have even added a CD changer to AUX cord so the car can play AUX while maintaining the OEM radio. The car is a real SIR which is also the reason I bought the vehicle. Originally I planned to make it into a CTR clone but Id rather use the money to finance a k20a2 swap into my EJ6. Also the car is really nice and I dont want to get it all rusty driving it around in the PA winters. The car is also Inspected as of 2/17. Also Included two sets of Keys with remotes.

What makes this car special compared to a US SI

OEM Heated Mirrors which can be seen in the Interior pictures and work well
OEM SIR Gauge Cluster Which is dominantly in KM instead of MPH but has MPH for easy use in the US
OEM Spec SIR Badges on the Front and rear of the vehicle

Items which need Fixed:

The car has a check engine light for the Secondary O2 Sensor
There is a light crack in the passenger door handle featured in a picture below (Does not impede use) and can still be bought new from Honda. Part # 72140-S7A-J01ZQ
Has usual Dents and dings and scratches which if you are interested can be sent to you in detail.
The cat back exhaust has a light leak at low speeds.
A/C needs charged

You have any underside pictures? More specifically, I am looking for a picture from the back looking at the rear suspension. I want to see if there's any rust. Thanks.

 

A real SiR? This body style of Civic is the SiR in Canada. The badges and gauge cluster are not special, not up here anyways (it's just an extra letter). Sure, the Canada/US differences may include some different bells and whistles but they are exactly the same car otherwise.

This is similar to the 96-00 Si/SiR, same car, just an extra letter.

It sounds like you're making this out to be something it isn't, just wanted to point this out. GLWS.

 

Apologies if you look in the post I was only trying to state that its a Canadian model thats all and not just SIR badges on a US SI its actually a Canadian car in the states sorry if I came off confusing. It has a couple cool little features which make it interesting to talk about and make is slightly different than the US SI.

You need not worry about it getting rusty by driving it in the winter - that car is already rusty as hell. Good luck with the sale.

 

Agreed. You have about two years of no salt before that shows through the paint. Probably one winter would do the same.
