Default diagnosing my power door lock problem

Hello everyone,

My car has an aftermarket alarm/keyless entry system installed by previous owner (96 ek civic audm)
Car locks and unlocks fine with the key, but with the keyless button, the driver side will attempt to move (seems like the rod can't generate enough force) but the passenger side wont move at all. Car doors are closed.
Also when i'm inside the car and move the lock manually, the driver side locks, but the passenger side only locks 50% of the time.
Just wanted to make sure I'm correct in assuming the actuators are screwed before i spend money changing it,

Thank you

If the power locks are stock, the problem is most likely the switches, [for central locking] inside the actuators that are the problem, so the actuators need to be replaced.
When you say, "Also when i'm inside the car and move the lock manually" do you mean with the door lock switch or the door lock manual lever???

If you mean the door lock switch, my guess is the Power Door Lock Control Unit is the problem. 94

Things to try

Silicon spray on the lock assembly on the outside of the assembly. My passengers side on the red hx was not locking or unlocking and i saturated the lock with wd40 and it's functional again

If replacing the actuator does not cure the problem test the power wire to the lock control module for 12 volts. It should be a white wire to a red stripe to a box hanging on the drivers door. Sometimes the wiring In the door harness can break and disrupt signals
