Hello guys! I'm new to Honda Tech and new to Hondas in general. I recently got my first Civic through way of trade. It's a 2000 dx hatch 5-speed, silver in color with a few little mods such as 4-2-1 style header, Ebay exhaust from the header back, spectre cold air intake, jdm yellow fogs and front lip. Mechanically it's pretty sound. Needs little things such as driver side window regular (ordered) and shift linkage needs to be tighter. It could use paint too but that's the least of my worries right now.

Anyways, so far I've put on a type-r style grille, Mugen shift ****, and just some stickers and stuff. What I want to know is what you guys think I should start doing to it. It's a d16y7 so it's pretty slow lol so I'm not worried about making it fast because I know it's not 😂 I just wanna make it look nice and be my first kinda "build" in a way. I plan on lowering it on raceland coils and putting maybe some avid av12's on it? What're your guys thoughts on them? Also I want to get a new cluster with a tach out of an ex or lx. Aside from all that, anyone have any suggestions on what I should do to it? Thanks!

get rid of those "type r style" stuff and get oem. oem si grill, si lip, fog lights, and so on. if you can find it, the 95-01 crv cluster better than the regular civic ones to me.
me personally would look into different coils/wheels. but it's not my car/money so do as you please. and post pictures.

 

Lower it get some nice wheels keep it clean less is more
