Hi everyone I have my car up for sale. Asking $4800 as it sits.
It's time to sell my 1993 Civic DX hatch. I have had this car since I was in high school and have done a lot of work to it. I don’t drive this car often and I’m starting to go back to school which is the reason I have the car for sale. Here are the specs:
WHITE 1993 DX CIVIC HATCHBACK
Black interior
Grey painted engine bay
Grey Auto Power Cage to match














Shell is semi-stripped, sound deadening and rear seats have been removed. Trunk area has been painted. Rear plastic panels have been removed to allow for the cage and easy removal of suspension. Door panels, dash, are all in place.
Will come with SI wheels, tires have good tread and have plenty life on them.
ENGINE SHORTBLOCK:
JDM B20 block bored to 85mm
RS Machine ITR-spec pistons
Probe forged I-beam rods
ARP rod bolts
Crank girdle (forget which brand)
Block guard (also forget which brand)
GSR oil pan & B16A pickup
Sheet metal skid plate on oil pan
ENGINE TOP END:
P8R head JDM (84mm chambers vs. the typical 81mm)
Crower 404 cams
Crower valve springs & retainers
(I have a GSR head that is already tapped for b20 / Vtec with no cams. If you are interested in putting a Vtec head on this motor I can include that for another $300)
ENGINE MISC:
P75 ECU
65mm throttle body
Blox intake manifold
DC Sports ITR-style 2.5" header (has a few dents)
Original Half Koyo radiator Blox intake manifold
Brand new tune up and spark plugs
Just changed oil and will come with an extra oil filter
fuse box has been tucked and the inside located on passenger side
Battery has been relocated to the trunk of the car
DRIVETRAIN:
GSR transmission with LSD, shifts smooth and does not grind in any gear. Hard to come by. I have taken very good care of this transmission and you will not have any problems with it.

f1 spec type 3 front bucket seats w/ eg rails
Auto Power 6 point cage (grey)
Black dash and door panels w/ black suede on door panels
Personal suede steering wheel and quick release hub
TeamTech 4 point harnesses
Headliner is black suede
brand new radio / front speakers work well
EXTERIOR:
eg6 headlights
eg6 clear corners
eg6 thin side moldings
VIS carbon fiber hood (In very good condition)
carbon fiber duckbill (will include OEM wing with purchase)
JDM SiR front lip with new hardware
All glass except front window is -JDM BRONZE- RARE. Something you will have and not many people will. Is noticeable if you know what you are looking for and really makes this EG stand out.
KNOWN ISSUES:
Recently the started decided to make my life difficult. Sometimes doesn’t engage. I will be replacing this by the end of next week with a new starter if the car is still for sale.
Drivers door is missing a tab for it to lock from the inside (works from the outside with a key)
Needs new tags. Exhaust I have on there now has a cat but I will include a test pipe to replace the cat.
I left the cat on to pass DEQ, which it will.
Interior pieces are missing here and there.
Missing intake manifold.
Speedo doesn’t work. Think I need a new sensor
FINAL NOTES:
Overall the car accelerates, turns, and brakes very well. Pulls well and is a lot of fun. I have never driven this car disappointed. It has yet to be dynoed. If you wanted to get more power out of it, I'd recommend having it retuned on the dyno. The car has no ac. The body is surprisingly clean considering its age. Oregon title is reconstructed and in my name, ready to go.
Asking $4900 with everything listed. I’m open to remove some items listed above to bring down the price. Please give me a call if you're interested in having a look at the car. DON’T TEXT.
