Please help me determine the best course forward with my wheels and brakes
I bought some 15" GM steel wheels, hoping they would clear my new integra type r brake calipers. They do not, I had to put my lug nuts on before the wheel in order for it to clear the caliper. The offset is that terrible on these pieces of ****. But, I would prefer steel wheels.
I can either buy Si (or whatever) wheels and some high end locking lug nuts, or press the hub off the spindle, hammer the old studs out, install ARP extended wheel studs, Timkin bearings and a huge (aprox. 2 centimeter) wheel spacer, or buy a pair of those two inch wheel spacers that have another set of wheel studs built into them. I like the steel wheels better, no one would steal them unlike Si wheels. They're cheaper to replace, easier to find, etc. But, I'm not about to double the budget for this to keep steel wheels.

Dorman sure makes an OEM equivalent 15" steel wheel, but it may still have the clearance issue that my current 15" GM wheels have. I guess my best bet would be taking my spindle/caliper back off and bringing it with me to the junkyard like I should have the first time. The GM wheels will still be good for the rear of my vehicle, hopefully caoboy is rite and those honda wheels will clear the caliper. If not, I guess i'll try and find some webs or Si's fit for a poor person.

At least an inch. Someone from d-series linked me to the good brake upgrade thread on Team Integra. I was stuck using an awful version of the resource that I found on honda-tech and that honda-tech version pales in comparison. The 15" steel honda wheels apparently do fit, so I don't need to even test fit the dorman oem-equivalent I ordered from the parts store. I was sitting here thinking that I'd need to tape rags to the caliper and wrap tape around the wheel studs and the mating surface of the wheel to make sure they don't give me a hard time saying "oh you installed this wheel you can't return it" and I don't even need to. Too bad I didn't find the team integra thread in the first place, now i've tied up almost a hundred dollars worth of credit for about a week.
Now I just need to finish cutting the anti sway bar linkages off my 24mm bar, slap it in, finish wiring my interior gauges and security system, put my dash back in and start up the z6 I spent too long rebuilding for the first time.
