today i was driving along when out of the blue the check engine light comes on then my transmission starts to slip and act up .. i pulled off the freeway and checked my fluids right away which were topped off i had to take the streets home because it was slipping so bad it wouldnt go . i noticed that when id turn the car off and let it sit that i would get a lil more activity from the trans.i disconnected the battery to try and clear the codes to c if it would help and it would just a lil.so when i finally got it to a place where i could work on it i drained the fluids and replaced it with clean fluids .its running better but not right and the check engine light is still on. i was wondering if the shift solinoids would cause this and what is the resistance on it.i need to keep this car going if only for at least another month any adice would be appreciated
