Default 1998 Prelude h22 Auto to 5 Speed question!

Hi,

My 94 Accord h22 / 5 speed was totalled last week. I have 98 Prelude Auto and i want to do manual swap. I will remove the transmission from my accord and install it on the prelude. I was just wondering which parts i need to replace on the prelude. Can i use (clutch slave cylinder, transmission bracket, clutch pedal and shifter linkage etc..) on the prelude?

As you stated all mounts are the same. Just need to aluminum bracket that bolts of trans for prelude manual one. Rear T Bracket is the same as well.

The pedal setup might be different, so you may need a Prelude 5th gen setup for that, but I believe everything else will swap over. Oh, and the shifter was different between 4th and 5th gen Preludes, so the Accord may be different as well.

You'll need to drill holes in the firewall for the clutch master cylinder. There isn't a plate as on other models.

Removed old transmission, drilled hole from the MC, installed clutch pedal and brake. Wondering if the accord axles and half shaft would fit?

you'll also need to desolder a resistor on the auto ecu and move it over one slot.

Otherwise you'll get a check engine code. There is an article if you search on google, forgot what its called. There are pictures and descriptions of what you need in regards to parts and steps etc.

You can use the prelude auto axles, all you need is the midshaft off the manual engine.
