Default Strange rattle from intake.

My EJ6 has been giving me some trouble lately. The most pressing matter is a strange rattle that seems to be coming from beneath the intake. (D16y7 for reference)
Now, here's the weird bit. It's a rhythmic, pulsing type rattle that only happens in drive or reverse. In park or neutral, it's quiet. It also quits completely under throttle or when the motor reaches temp.
It definitely sounds like a rattle and not a rub/grind.

I know it's past due for my PCV valve to be replaced and I'll be doing so this weekend. Is it possible that the PCV valve could be making the rattling sound? Any other possibilities I could trouble shoot while I'm under there?

Thanks!

Sorry about that! It's a '96 civic hatchback.

Did you notice any paper towels inside of your intake recently?
