I have an extra Z6 intake manifold that I want to play around with. My plan is to get a b-series throttle body and port match the manifold.

Is removing the flash from the ports a bad idea? What about polishing them? I've read that this can be bad

I already have a B18B1 TB on my Z6 Intake, I do feel like a minimum improvement on my acceleration response... but without porting the entrance of the intake.... its not like you gonna get an extra 10hp... cuz its impossible but if you gonna port it, regardless if some users state not to, take in count you can loose more that what you gain doing that...

 

Machine shop does that, unless you're good with a dremel and have patience

That's all you really need. Sounds like you're set for life.

 

Or maybe because it's what I had available. Or maybe because the head and block was milled by the previous owner. Who knows
