Looking for shortest trans for CB7 racecar
I've got a 93 CB7 racecar with a 5 speed.
3rd gear is now grinding on almost every shift, so I'd like to throw a new trans in with the best ratios.
What would be the easiest transmission to find in Southern California? I'm thinking an M2B4 or an M2F4 would be the best, anyone have any other ideas?

Any of the 92-96 Prelude transmissions would have lower gear ratios for better acceleration, even the lowly F22 Preludes had better gear ratios compared to the Accord.
If you know your powerband match it to the gear ratios available. Check the H/F gear ratios in the link in my sig.

With that said, the next best thing is to use a H22 trans with a MFactory final drive of your choice.
Thats the way my old cb7 accord was set up.
