Default Replaced AC compressor. Low side is high, High side is low.

Got an 02 accord 4cyl lx
The compressor clutch wasnt engaging since i got the car (nov 2015)
Decided to finally get the ac going again so i replaced the compressor. I put 8oz. of oil in the compressor before the install. Got everything put back together and started to vacuum the system out, did this for about an hour and a half. I then started to put the refrigerant in but 5 min in I noticed that i forgot to turn the car and AC on to pull the refrigerant in. After 10 min i checked the pressure on the manifold gauges and the low side was way high and the high side was low. Was this because i messed up and forgot to turn the car on or is there another problem? The compressor does engage when i enable the AC button so it is working. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome!

Symptoms of a failed expansion valve IMO.
