Default Which of these parts are worth to get?

Which of the following parts are worth to get for my 5th gen base Prelude? Already existing mods are in my sig!

1.) steel braided brake lines (There are a lot of martens who seem to love the cables of my prelude at my place. Other than that Iīd like to improve my brakes, too.)
2.) oil cooler
3.) Thermal R&D Stealth exhaust system (Not sure if I really want one yet because I donīt want to lose any power anywhere on the powerband.)
4.) gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure or a/f ratio
5.) Apexi Rev/ Speed Meter GP with g-sensor
6.) Hondata heatshield gasket
7.) short shifter (Which brand? Any bushings available?)

I did a search on the Thermal exhaust and everybody seems to like it but is it worth to get one without buying a new header and an intake system? Maybe I would replace my stock cat with a high-flow one later.

And Iīm looking for a shift **** which would look nice with my OEM wooden interior! Stock shift **** is black....and I dunno if some alloy would look nice with the plastic wood? I was thinking about a black Spoon Duracon shift ****!?

Thanx in advance!

First of all, excuse my ignorance, but what the hell is a marten? Next, IMHO I would skip #2 right off the bat and as for #4, the oil temp/pressure gauges are nice to have, but you probably don't need the a/f until you get boost or nitrous.

The brake lines are cool and there are all sorts of s-shifters available as well as bushings (might want to do a search on that one too). Don't know much about the Hondata gasket, but I've seen a review (supposedly) of the Apexi unit and it's supposed to be pretty accurate if you don't have access to a track or dyno, which would both of course be preferable.

Now personally, I'd go for the exhaust. Don't know much about the Thermal, but I've heard good things about the Apexi's. IMO the intake (ca or short ram) is a good idea; there is some debate about the hp gains from headers. I'd do a search on the DC Sports, Mugen, SMSP, etc.

I think MOMO makes a nice woodgrain shift ****. Check optauto.com or modacar.com.

Hope that helps.

The Hondata heatsield gasket will greatly lower your intake air temps especially after the engine heats up. Since you will have your intake manifold off at the time, it's a perfect opportunity to have the IM and TB ported and matched to increase airflow. If you have the means, I recommend it....more air and a cooler temp

1.) steel braided brake lines (There are a lot of martens who seem to love the cables of my prelude at my place. Other than that Iīd like to improve my brakes, too.)

-Good stuff

2.) oil cooler

-good but not necessary for your set up

3.) Thermal R&D Stealth exhaust system

-Thermal dont go bigger then 2.5" for na

4.) gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure or a/f ratio

-a/f is a waste of money unless you have a wideband 02 sensor. if you are just going to have the basic bolt ons, i wouldnt waste the money on the other gauges either

5.) Apexi Rev/ Speed Meter GP with g-sensor

-save your money and go run at the track

6.) Hondata heatshield gasket

-very good choice

7.) short shifter (Which brand? Any bushings available?)

-b&m, cheaper then the DC sports and just as good

8) replace my stock cat with a high-flow one later.

-good choice, you might wnat to look into having a test pipe made. but since you run obd2 this might make you trigger a check engine light...

black Spoon Duracon shift ****

-50whp

Iīm from germany so english is not my motherlanguage. I had a look into a dictionary and it said that the animal Iīm talking about is called "marten"! But maybe this is just in UK-english!? The animal is something like a big rat with a face like a cat and a hairy tail. Itīs a small brown colored predator who likes to eat engine stuff....

Thanx for your help!!!

I donīt want to buy the Spoon shift **** because itīs JDM or anything like that. Nobody would notice that anyways over here in germany because the Honda scene is very small and most japanese parts arenīt really available over here.
But the Spoon shift **** is the only one which I thought might look nice with the rest of my interior. But I could need these 50whp!!
Thanx for your help!!
