I have goofy problem with my accord. Its the 2,2 L 5spd. When I shift from 1 to 2 especially from 4,000 rpms to just under 3,000 in 2nd, the car jerks - like its bouncing back and forth between the motor and the trans until the motor spools up. Its not missing or running funny in any obvious way but it is annoying. It does it from 2nd to 3rd as well and it just when I don't wind the engine out and shift into the 2000-3000 rpm range. It feels like the engine tries to pull, the trans resist slowing the car down then the engine tries to pull again - again it bounces off the trans a few times until it hits power band and then spools up... Is this normal is there something up??? I bought the car, did a bunch of shibit to it and it still does this.... SHRUG?!!
