2006 Honda Civic poor performance and acceleration
Hi guys, I got an 06 Civic 4dr, think it's the DX-G model (Canadian car), and it feels really slow. The torque just isn't their and the engine has really poor performance. I have another one and that one feels much faster. Any ideas on what could be causing this lack of power? I just got the car but it has had a recent oil change, and I checked the air filter, and it looks new. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
How much mileage?
And when was the last full tuneup done... did the pervious owner provide you with more details other then oil change and air filter?

Hey, I just sold the car so it's all good. But I think the problem was that the car sat for a long time and had sticky brakes. After I wrote this post, I took it to the shop to change the AC compressor and noticed that one of the rear wheels wasn't spinning freely, so I'm almost certain the brakes need a good cleaning. They were squeaking a bit too despite having plenty of material. Thanks.
