Hello, I just bought a 97 Honda Accord LX 4cyl 4Dr Sedan off a dude for a steal. Problem is, the driver side rear door is jammed. His story is that he couldn't get it to lock and had valuables in the car. He was going on a trip and was leaving it parked so he had pushed on the lock until it locked but never was able to unlock it.

I haven't been able to find anything online because the door WILL NOT open from the inside door latch and it doesn't open from the outside. I can hear what sounds to be the power locks but while the rest of the car is unlocked, the door isn't.

I feel like if i can get the inside door panel off i could fix it but I don't know what the real issue is. I need help asap.
