I have a 1995 accord ex with a 2001 Honda Accord engine ex as well. Well two days ago the car ran smooth and perfect I noticed that a fuel injector had a small leak so I took the fuel rail out and replaced the o ring and while I was there I cleaned my super clogged egr(only on the manifold) and put it back togeather, I started her up it ran fine I gave it some gas it misfired extremely bad and to keep it running I have to press the gas unless it will stall out. I replaced all 4 injectors and spark plugs still the same. Took out the egr and made sure that gasket was fine and lined up and I tried starting it up but it won't it wants too but it can't, I checked all vacuum lines they are good, check sensors good, checked fuses good, check to see if pump works good, checked plug wires and to see if it has spark it's good, no gas leaks, no check engine light for the misfire either. Checked grounds good, double checked injectors pressure regulator all good, car ran perfect low idle no misfire but as soon as I put back the injectors and cleaned the egr passages it misfires very badly and now won't start. It started fine but if I press the gas boom misfire and stalls out. I need help guys I need it asap I don't know what I did wrong.

I feel like maybe you damaged the egr chamber gasket. Does it do it when the car is cold ? It's possible something got sucked into the intake and damaged something. You could compression test the engine to verify the engine is in good shape. Double check that the cushion rings are on the top and the hard rings are on the bottom of the injectors.

 

Everything was done correctly and nothing fell in I took out the egr gasket inspected it looked good and put gasket maker around it and put it back to no avail. I thing I did notice is that on the the fuel rail there are 3 10mm bolts that hold it in place but one of them broke the one ton the right side and I guess it might be that

 

Sounds like the EGR valve is stuck open, got codes?
