Default INPUT SHAFT NOISE?

i just got this old gsr integra and i have no history on it or anything i got it not running. I know nothing about transmission or if this noise is normal? basically i have a gsr trans (out of the car) and when i spin the input shaft by hand it makes noise like metal tapping..i cant really describe but when you spin it there is a lil noise but the shaft has no play and doesnt wiggle or anything, does this noise mean the input shaft bearing is bad?

You may as well just replace the input shaft bearing while it's out. It's not really hard. Just pop it open. You tap the old one out from the clutch side. Then tap out the seal. Then tap in a new HONDA seal and tap in the new bearing in a circular motion a lil at a time. Close it up.
