Accord 90-93/94-97 and Prelude 92-96 use the same family of transmissions. Gearing will be different, Accord is for economy, Prelude for performance.

The M2L5 is from the Prelude S, which is the F22A1 version of the prelude. It does have a bit shorter gears than your stock 96. Whether or not it makes your Accord a racecar slick, depends on what type of racing you are doing and what you have done to the engine.

Completely stock f23a1 engine it came off a 98 accord tryna get more acceleration like faster 0-60. But I have to make sure the transmission will fit with the engine

In that case then, Yes, it will physically bolt up.





There are better transmissions if all you are looking for is faster 0-60 times though!

Yea I got this one for only 200 bucks tho im focusing on the engine more since this is my first time driving stick and my first car
