i never liked the veilside front end on hondas... even when they first came out like in 97 or so.
altezzas sucked the first time around too.. the only decent ones that didnt make me gag the first time i saw it were the 94-95 accords....

but hey at least ur being honest with this thread

Finally, people admit it. I always loved JDM fronts on Integras and S13s...thought it was the coolest thing ever. That's not to say that I wanted huge wheels and body kits back then too! Those were the days...my how times have changed.

damn it i hate exterior mods! i want to look as close the the stock civic/integra/accord/whatever next to me as possible!

still though, the kit is played out, and altezzas's are played out as well. now the popular thing to do is sell it all, put the stock stuff back on and roll around on blacked out 15's. JDM style y0

I'll tell you what happened. The mexicans take everything too far and ruin any car they get their hands on. Conversions looked real nice - same with molded body kits. But now you have **** like LJ Garcia that put TV's under their hoods. 4 Racing seats in a hatch back and crazy *** mexican silver metallic flake paint with butt-loads of graphics. 3 different types of wings on one car, carbon fiber everything and a super wide body that allows him to tuck non-functional 19" racing harts.

You take that crap and throw it on every magazine cover you are going to get every wanna-be to immatate that ****. Because they all want their car on the cover of a magazine. There are forced to look at that **** everytime they pick up their mag. What's the purpose of 28" rims and 14 tv's in the back of a Suburban?

People associate what is cool and what is not by popularity. LJ must be doing something right - his car has been on the cover of 932 magazines for the past three years!! Well I gotta copy him - I gotta be able to do that - that's what imports are all about - it pisses me off.

Don't get me wrong some "WIZDOM" cars looked real nice...but all the stupid ones got the attention. What about the real car enthusiasts? The REAL people that deserve the REAL respect. Jetspeed - Wyld Kardz - Speed Addicts - Gridline - Hokori -

I'm sure there are tons of you that are apart of this web site that agree. Some of you own tighter cars than any of these fools, but don't get the respect. The only way to stop this bullshit is for people like YOU to do something about it. Stop reading stupid street - stop promoting or helping Hot Import Nights. You have a handfull of people controlling the industry (controlling everyone that makes up the "scene"). I think its time for the table to be turned. These **** faces happen to have their hands on the resources in order to influence everyones thoughts. I say **** these ******s - **** em in the *** - and we start to do **** our way, the way we want to do it. The way its supposed to be done - teach these people a better way - give them something better to look at.

Back in the day....Soooo glad that is past tense.
I work at a dragstrip, saw the worst looking car ever last night. It was a pontiac sunfire. Gold with horrible graphics. 16 chrome alien looking rims (solid with maybe 8 tear drop holes around the outside). Stock wing WITH THE EXTRA DOUBLE DECKER. Glass pack exhaust. Ran a 17.9 followed by 18.0. I was embarassed for the guy. Oh, and he has the cool lights on the tire valve stems.
I just don't understand.
