Accord Leaks
Hi,
My 6th gen honda accord V6 has leaks and I need your help to confirm my diagnosis.
Pictures:
1.) I believe this is the oil pan leaking oil, do I replace the gasket? And the encircled part, the bolt, it seems be leaking too, what is this part?

2.) The part encircled seems to be leaking too, is this the oil pump leaking? It's right above the oil pan.

3.) Valve cover gasket? Replace bolts too?

4.) Leaking from the valve cover too?

I will be doing it DIY! Repair costs are expensive! Unless it requires special tools... Thank you!!

The best way to find a leak is to wash down your engine first. I am not sure what the proper way is, but you have "Google" for that.
When I was in college and broke, I just sprayed the engine with engine degreaser first then hosed it down with the water hose. Let it dry out for a few hours in the hot summer sun (hood up) then started it up and looked for suspected leaks.
I'm not say this is the proper way to do it. But, it works if you don't want to spend money. Avoid direct spraying to your sparkplugs, distributor, battery, alternator, etc...

Most of those leaks look extremely minor. I would agree to wash down the motor and see which ones are worth fixing.
Engine cleaner works or you can go to a DIY car wash and they usually have an engine wash setting. Just take a couple towels and cover the distributor and electrical boxes to keep them from getting soaked.

I actually cleaned it afterwards and im now positive that they are leaking on those points.
Yes they are minor leaks only! I bought a valve cover gasket already and the gasket maker for the oil pan.
Anyone know what part is the bolt encircled in no. 1 pic? im having a headache already looking for it in the service manual.

Those pics are atrocious. Is it possible to get some pics in the light? You might be able to make out what those pics are cause you took them but not other people.
I am never for an engine wash. You can certainly hit those spots with some brake cleaner and then run the car to help narrow down the leaks.
