I bought my EF back in February and i'm now doing work down in the suspension area and i've been meaning to ask this question for the longest. you see my front passenger caliper is from an EF but my driver side says "NISSIN" And it is for sure from a different Honda as it is bigger and requires a 14 inch rim unlike my other 3 13 inch rims. what i want to know is are there other brakes that connect directly to the knuckle or is my diver side knuckle from another car? I want to know because there is an EF in the junkyard by me and i need to know quick so i can snag that knuckle. Pics on request, it is currently raining.

Look on the knuckle for part number like these

 

Nissin and Akebono were the two big brake manufacturers for honda. Since you have not actually said what car you have its hard to say what is supposed to be there.

Those are one of the versions of the knuckles.
There are a few so find your numbers and you can figure out what knuckle is on there.
