Default Intro, back to Honda

I started my honda journey with a 07 civic si back in 07, then went on to WRX, then mazdaspeed3, then a Ram 1500, now back to a 93 Del Sol S. It has a JDM D16 swap I believe. I bought it like a week ago and I'm still fudging around trying to find all the kinks to work out. I'm hoping to find out as much as I can here and figure out what exactly is going on under the hood of this ~23 year old used car. I've pretty much bought new cars my whole life so any work I've done before was strictly modding. I'm learning that working on a car is both frustrating but rewarding when it comes down to making sure it gets me where I need to go.

It's basically a commuter for the next two years while I'm in Pensacola for work. It's a sweet looking car, love the style of the del sol. If anyone in in the Pcola area let me know!

Welcome broo or welcome back rather... Im in the same boat working out the kinks with my new civic. It'll be a journey! and definetly satisfying to fix the kinks, if you boguht it for a reasonable price

must be a pretty quick little thing huh

I wouldn't call it quick, this thing is a dog. The slowest car I had previously was the 07 si when it was stock, I put a greddy kit on that. Then the WRX and MS3 were both faster. But they were all heavy, so I think with a little work, this car with less power will still be more fun.

The most fun I have in these cars is under braking, seriously.

The handling and driving dynamics are so much better than those other morbidly obese whales you've owned.

Well the most recent vehicle was actually a ram 1500, so yeah, obese and handled like a boat.

The cars you owned were pigs too. WRXs and MS3s handle like poo. Not anymore than other modern cars, but not remotely in the same ballpark of the lightness and nimbleness of your del sol.

The del sol also has proper suspension design, not like the Playschool mcstrut crap on those other cars.
