I've had the car for a short month now and i havent noticed a problem with the clutch at all, but I checked out a air noise coming from the clutch and it is leaking slightly from the pedal @ the firewall. What can be the cause for a leak starting there? The gust of air is starting to annoy me aswell, lol.. Thanks

 

I assume the safest method of fixing would be to replace the whole cylinder huh? Meh!

 

Normally if it's leaking at the pushrod then the master cylinder is bad. It's best to replace it and the slave at the same time.

 

Yeah I assume so, i have no clue how long the previous owner has been driving with a laeking clutch rod either. Is it dangerous at all? Suspension is first on da list!! The stiffness will break up every goddamn ball joint lol

 

At some point it's just going to give out completely and not be able to go into gear. That would be dangerous if you pull out in front of someone and can't accelerate, so yes it's dangerous.

 

Let me just put a lighter to this topic once moree!

Now a few months later, the leak and pedal feel seems to be in the same shape as before, hasnt gotten worse.. It still has jerking problems when shifting, and a high clutch engagement in pedal... How much does a Master and Slave cylinder play part in this? I genuinelly CANNOT do a WOT 1st gear pull without being shook around, But in comparison shifting from 2-5th is pretty much flawless, a little jerk but much less obvious momentum {ik}

Doesnt give me a good feeling launching it, and I practically havent done it in a long long time..

Tips are more than appreciated!
