Hello world,
I'm selling a 1993 Prelude Vtec, top of the line back in the day, that runs great and would make an awesome DD or a good base for a project. This car is 99% stock... (minus the aftermarket cd player).
I purchased this car from Pennsylvania earlier this year and have attempted to fix it up a little. It was leaking oil from several places, the seals in which have all been replaced. One location in particular, the rear main seal, was leaking oil onto the clutch resulting in premature failure. The clutch has since been professionally replaced, along with both axle shafts, as well as a number of seals: valve cover gasket, filer assembly spool valve, solenoid base gasket, and a cam cap end, oil pan gasket, and rear main seal. A valve clearance adjustment was also performed at this time.
It also came with an early 90s viper alarm system that was malfunctioning. It has been removed.
Everything works! It has strong AC, power windows, power locks, functioning sunroof, functioning power antenna (neat!), aftermarket stereo with CD/Bluetooth (lame that it's not stock, but an easy fix if you desire). This car isn't a concourse, but it's condition is certainly fair to good. Typical rust areas appear to be starting but remain containable today. These issues are reflected in the price.
I've enjoyed the car for the short time that I've had it, but to be honest it was sort of an impulse buy. I won't be breaking even, but I'm looking to recoup some of the costs. My loss is your gain!
