using a parachute for th first time/ scared LOL
ive never pulled my chute, running 150 mph and up my brakes are useless. what driving techniques are used? i heard you have to drive into it. cant just pull it? im scared of lifting the rear wheels
The key thing is to make sure your stirring wheel is straight and drive into the chute. also there is a variation in the type of chute. some hit softer than the other.
I would start with pulling the chute out at lower speed passes to get a feel for it. Also make sure you don't have a big chute, I use this one Stroud 4001 | Buy Stroud Safety Parachutes at JEGS and it doesn't try to move the car around much.
